This Membership Form is only for Marine Students who have a referral code provided by their educator . Membership confirmation and a membership card will be sent via Australia Post in 4-6 weeks - to allow for approval at the monthly committee meeting. The process will take about 5 minutes to complete and only on the last page will we ask for your name, address for date of birth for privacy and security. Please complete all the relevant fields so that next year all of your information will auto-fill. Our new payment system will create a subscription to VMR membership and will automatically renew each year. Please call us to amend any renewals.

Marine Rescue Assistance is available in an emergency and for routine breakdown situations, with coverage from Point Danger to Bribie Island. Assistance extends only to the closest safe haven. A member may request to be towed beyond the safe haven after consultation with the Rexcue vessel Skipper. A reimbursement donation will apply.
I do hereby make application for membership of the Association and agree to be bound by the provisions of the constitution, rules, by-laws which may, from time to time, apply to the conduct of affairs of the association.
I also confirm that my vessel is in a seaworthy condition, and understand that VMR Southport reserves the right to refuse assistance, should they determine any form of risk in doing so is evident.
